We began our building journey with Occman Homes late 2019. We were a little hesitant to build at first due to past experiences but after our initial consult with both Rob and Jose we were immediately put at ease.

Occman Homes were very professional, super organised and had great ideas along the way to help us to save costs. We had received other quotes from ‘volume’ builders and were very surprised that Occman Homes could build our dream home around the same budget.

Their suppliers are all very experienced and professional in helping pick the right products, making the process very easy and enjoyable. Occman Homes were also very flexible when we wanted to choose and purchase from other suppliers. Even when an unexpected health crisis hit our family, Rob and his team were patient and understanding and we were very confident to leave many of the decisions in their hands.

Their communication throughout the entire build process was outstanding, Rob and Jose always kept us up to date with the progress and were regularly invited for site meetings to chat about changes/ideas if needed. We have now lived in our house for 6 months and couldn’t be happier. The quality and finishes are exceptional and they have been quick to resolve any of our few minor defects. We are so happy we chose Occman Homes for our build, they show pride in their work and make building a home a pleasure.

We knew that we were on a winner because we were getting a builder who would work with us to create the home we wanted and could afford. The house that Occman Homes built for us was to become our family home so we wanted to make sure we were getting something for a long time. We did not think that we could afford a private builder however after some luck we found Occman Homes who could match the national builders prices but beat them on quality and service. We created a very good business relationship where Occman Homes would call us to talk the build though, meet with us at the build site if we wanted to talk about anything and finally follow up very promptly on anything that we found was an anomaly after we moved in. We have already referred several people to Occman Homes after they’ve walked through our home and we would definitely build with Occman Homes if we were to build again.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Rob at Occman Homes and all staff involved - they were superb in explaining every step to us and assisted us in several instances with fast tracking processes. We recently had the pleasure of into our beautifully renovated home and we wish to thank you and your fine team of professionals, builders and tradespersons who helped to make this home a success. Rob’s attention to details (even when I thought it was super but he still wasn’t happy) was a pleasure to deal with, as there were no shortcuts. I have built with major builders before and felt like a ‘number’ but with Rob it was very much hands on and nothing was too much trouble. We were originally in discussions (for three months) with a large volume builder but pulled the pin before signing the contract. Their customer service up to that point and their unwillingness to make minor changes to the plans was very frustrating. We were then referred to Rob from Occman Homes and are so glad that we called him. We got the home design that we wanted, the build quality is great and the whole process was painless. Rob’s was great to deal with and takes pride in the homes that he builds.

We are delighted with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Occman Homes. This was the first major building project we had embarked on and so we were a bit nervous given the stories you hear about other people’s renovation experiences. Ours was different. From the start Rob was very reliable and easy to communicate with. Inevitably there are going to be unforeseen challenges in a building project of any size and throughout the course of the project Rob was was always honest and his ability to communicate with us gave us a great deal of confidence.

Occman Homes recently completed the construction of our new home and are delighted with the end result. From our initial meeting with Rob we felt confident that we had made the right selection in builders. Comparing other quotes Occman Homes certainly offered value for money but more importantly quality. We would be more than happy to build with Occman Homes again.

After looking through numerous display villages, we realised we wanted to build something a little different to the plans that most of the larger builders were offering. We went into our first meeting with Rob and Jose with a pretty clear picture of the layout we wanted to build, and quickly realised that just because Occman was a private builder, it didn't have to cost us an arm and a leg to go with them.

From the early planning stages, we had so much flexibility in the choices we made for the house, and the team at Occman were great at suggesting smart ways to save money in some areas in order to get the best out of our build. Rob was always great at communicating with us throughout the planning and building process, and quick to answer all of our questions as they arose.

The outcome of our build was everything we had hoped for and more, we couldn't be happier with the finishes, and are so happy we chose Occman Homes to build our family home.
