We began our building journey with Occman Homes late 2019. We were a little hesitant to build at first due to past experiences but after our initial consult with both Rob and Jose we were immediately put at ease.

Occman Homes were very professional, super organised and had great ideas along the way to help us to save costs. We had received other quotes from ‘volume’ builders and were very surprised that Occman Homes could build our dream home around the same budget.

Their suppliers are all very experienced and professional in helping pick the right products, making the process very easy and enjoyable. Occman Homes were also very flexible when we wanted to choose and purchase from other suppliers. Even when an unexpected health crisis hit our family, Rob and his team were patient and understanding and we were very confident to leave many of the decisions in their hands.

Their communication throughout the entire build process was outstanding, Rob and Jose always kept us up to date with the progress and were regularly invited for site meetings to chat about changes/ideas if needed. We have now lived in our house for 6 months and couldn’t be happier. The quality and finishes are exceptional and they have been quick to resolve any of our few minor defects. We are so happy we chose Occman Homes for our build, they show pride in their work and make building a home a pleasure.

We knew that we were on a winner because we were getting a builder who would work with us to create the home we wanted and could afford. The house that Occman Homes built for us was to become our family home so we wanted to make sure we were getting something for a long time. We did not think that we could afford a private builder however after some luck we found Occman Homes who could match the national builders prices but beat them on quality and service. We created a very good business relationship where Occman Homes would call us to talk the build though, meet with us at the build site if we wanted to talk about anything and finally follow up very promptly on anything that we found was an anomaly after we moved in. We have already referred several people to Occman Homes after they’ve walked through our home and we would definitely build with Occman Homes if we were to build again.

From the early planning stages, we had so much flexibility in the choices we made for the house, and the team at Occman were great at suggesting smart ways to save money in some areas in order to get the best out of our build. Rob was always great at communicating with us throughout the planning and building process, and quick to answer all of our questions as they arose.
